20 But Peter said to him, “May your silver perish with you, because you thought you could obtain the gift of God with money! (2Ki 5:16; Isa 55:1; Da 5:17)

20 Peter answered: ‘May your money perish with you, because you thought you could buy the gift of God with money!

20 Peter answered, ‘May your money be destroyed with you! Do you think you can buy God’s gift with money?
