11 But the centurion paid more attention to the pilot and to the owner of the ship than to what Paul said. (Re 18:17) 

New International Version

11 But the centurion, instead of listening to what Paul said, followed the advice of the pilot and of the owner of the ship. 

New International Reader’s Version

11 But the commander didn’t listen to what Paul said. Instead, he followed the advice of the pilot and the ship’s owner. 

King James Version

11 Nevertheless the centurion believed the master and the owner of the ship, more than those things which were spoken by Paul.
