31 And when they had withdrawn, they said to one another, “This man is doing nothing to deserve death or imprisonment.” (Ac 23:29) 

New International Version

31 After they left the room, they began saying to one another, ‘This man is not doing anything that deserves death or imprisonment.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

31 They left the room and began to talk with one another. ‘Why should this man die or be put in prison?’ they said. ‘He has done nothing worthy of that!’ 

King James Version

31 And when they were gone aside, they talked between themselves, saying, This man doeth nothing worthy of death or of bonds.
