9 But Festus, wishing to do the Jews a favor, said to Paul, “Do you wish to go up to Jerusalem and there be tried on these charges before me?” (Ac 24:27) 

New International Version

9 Festus, wishing to do the Jews a favour, said to Paul, ‘Are you willing to go up to Jerusalem and stand trial before me there on these charges?’ 

New International Reader’s Version

9 But Festus wanted to do the Jews a favour. So he said to Paul, ‘Are you willing to go up to Jerusalem? Are you willing to go on trial there? Are you willing to face these charges in my court?’ 

King James Version

9 But Festus, willing to do the Jews a pleasure, answered Paul, and said, Wilt thou go up to Jerusalem, and there be judged of these things before me?
