27 When two years had elapsed, Felix was succeeded by Porcius Festus. And desiring to do the Jews a favor, Felix left Paul in prison. (Mr 15:15; Lu 21:12; Ac 12:3; Ac 25:1; Ac 25:9; Ac 25:14; Ac 26:24)

New International Version

27 When two years had passed, Felix was succeeded by Porcius Festus, but because Felix wanted to grant a favour to the Jews, he left Paul in prison.

27 Two years passed. Porcius Festus took the place of Felix. But Felix wanted to do the Jews a favour. So he left Paul in prison.

27 But after two years Porcius Festus came into Felix' room: and Felix, willing to shew the Jews a pleasure, left Paul bound.
