34 On reading the letter, he asked what province he was from. And when he learned that he was from Cilicia, (Ac 21:39; Ac 25:1)

34 The governor read the letter and asked what province he was from. Learning that he was from Cilicia, 

New International Reader’s Version

34 The governor read the letter. He asked Paul where he was from. He learned that Paul was from Cilicia. 

King James Version

34 And when the governor had read the letter, he asked of what province he was. And when he understood that he was of Cilicia;
