2 And the high priest Ananias commanded those who stood by him to strike him on the mouth. (1Ki 22:24; La 3:30; Mic 5:1; Ac 24:1; 2Co 11:20)

2 At this the high priest Ananias ordered those standing near Paul to strike him on the mouth.

2 Ananias the high priest heard this. So he ordered the men standing near Paul to hit him on the mouth.

2 And the high priest Ananias commanded them that stood by him to smite him on the mouth.
