40 And with many other words he bore witness and continued to exhort them, saying, “Save yourselves from this crooked generation.” (De 32:5; Mt 17:17; Ac 2:21; Ac 2:47; Php 2:15) 

New International Version

40 With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, ‘Save yourselves from this corrupt generation.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

40 Peter said many other things to warn them. He begged them, ‘Save yourselves from these evil people.’ 

King James Version

40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
