6 And when Paul had laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they began speaking in tongues and prophesying. (Mr 16:17; Ac 8:17; Ac 10:46; Ac 13:1) 

New International Version

6 When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues[1] and prophesied. 

New International Reader’s Version

6 Paul placed his hands on them. Then the Holy Spirit came on them. They spoke in languages they had not known before. They also prophesied. 

King James Version

6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
