New International Version

4 Every Sabbath he reasoned in the synagogue, trying to persuade Jews and Greeks. 

New International Reader’s Version

4 Every Sabbath day he went to the synagogue. He was trying to get both Jews and Greeks to believe in the Lord. 

King James Version

4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.
