12 and from there to Philippi, which is a leading city of the[1] district of Macedonia and a Roman colony. We remained in this city some days. (Ac 16:21; Php 1:1; 1Th 2:2)

12 From there we travelled to Philippi, a Roman colony and the leading city of that district[1] of Macedonia. And we stayed there several days.
