38 But Paul thought best not to take with them one who had withdrawn from them in Pamphylia and had not gone with them to the work. (Ac 13:13) 

New International Version

38 but Paul did not think it wise to take him, because he had deserted them in Pamphylia and had not continued with them in the work. 

New International Reader’s Version

38 But Paul didn’t think it was wise to take him. Mark had deserted them in Pamphylia. He hadn’t continued with them in their work. 

King James Version

38 But Paul thought not good to take him with them, who departed from them from Pamphylia, and went not with them to the work.
