20 but should write to them to abstain from the things polluted by idols, and from sexual immorality, and from what has been strangled, and from blood. (Le 3:17; Eze 4:13; Da 1:8; Mal 1:7; Mal 1:12; Ac 15:29; Ac 21:25; 1Co 6:18; 1Co 10:7; Re 2:14; Re 2:20) 

New International Version

20 Instead we should write to them, telling them to abstain from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from the meat of strangled animals and from blood. 

New International Reader’s Version

20 Here is what we should write to them. They must not eat food that has been made impure by being offered to statues of gods. They must not commit sexual sins. They must not eat the meat of animals that have been choked to death. And they must not drink blood. 

King James Version

20 But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.
