4 And while staying[1] with them he ordered them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which, he said, “you heard from me; (Lu 24:49) 

New International Version

4 On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: ‘Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about.

4 One day Jesus was eating with them. He gave them a command. ‘Do not leave Jerusalem,’ he said. ‘Wait for the gift my Father promised. You have heard me talk about it.

4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.
