24 And the Lord’s servant[1] must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, (1Th 2:7; 1Ti 3:2; 1Ti 3:3) 

New International Version

24 And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. 

New International Reader’s Version

24 Anyone who serves the Lord must not be hard to get along with. Instead, they must be kind to everyone. They must be able to teach. The one who serves must not hold anything against anyone.
