3 We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers,[1] as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of every one of you for one another is increasing. (Eph 5:20; 1Th 1:2; 2Th 2:13) 

New International Version

3 We ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters,[1] and rightly so, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing. 

New International Reader’s Version

3 Brothers and sisters, we should always thank God for you. That is only right, because your faith is growing more and more. We also thank God that the love you all have for one another is increasing. 

King James Version

3 We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;
