8 These are the names of the mighty men whom David had: Josheb-basshebeth a Tahchemonite; he was chief of the three.[1] He wielded his spear[2] against eight hundred whom he killed at one time. (1Ch 11:11; 1Ch 27:2)

8 These are the names of David’s mighty warriors: Josheb-Basshebeth,[1] a Tahkemonite,[2] was chief of the Three; he raised his spear against eight hundred men, whom he killed[3] in one encounter. (1Ch 11:11)
