3 my[1] God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold and my refuge, my savior; you save me from violence. 3 my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield[1] and the horn[2] of my salvation. He is my stronghold, my refuge and my saviour – from violent people you save me. 

New International Reader’s Version

3 My God is my rock. I go to him for safety. He is like a shield to me. He’s the power that saves me. He’s my place of safety. I go to him for help. He’s my Saviour. He saves me from those who want to hurt me. 

King James Version

3 The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.
