English Standard Version

16 And Ishbi-benob, one of the descendants of the giants, whose spear weighed three hundred shekels[1] of bronze, and who was armed with a new sword, thought to kill David. (2Sa 21:18; 2Sa 21:20; 2Sa 21:22) 

New International Version

16 And Ishbi-Benob, one of the descendants of Rapha, whose bronze spearhead weighed three hundred shekels[1] and who was armed with a new sword, said he would kill David. 

New International Reader’s Version

16 Ishbi-Benob belonged to the family line of Rapha. The tip of his bronze spear weighed 3.5 kilograms. He was also armed with a new sword. He said he would kill David. 

King James Version

16 And Ishbibenob, which was of the sons of the giant, the weight of whose spear weighed three hundred shekels of brass in weight, he being girded with a new sword , thought to have slain David.
