English Standard Version

31 Now Barzillai the Gileadite had come down from Rogelim, and he went on with the king to the Jordan, to escort him over the Jordan. (1Ki 2:7) 

New International Version

31 Barzillai the Gileadite also came down from Rogelim to cross the Jordan with the king and to send him on his way from there. 

New International Reader’s Version

31 Barzillai had also come down to go across the River Jordan with the king. He wanted to send the king on his way from there. Barzillai was from Rogelim in the land of Gilead. 

King James Version

31 And Barzillai the Gileadite came down from Rogelim, and went over Jordan with the king, to conduct him over Jordan.
