English Standard Version

13 So David and his men went on the road, while Shimei went along on the hillside opposite him and cursed as he went and threw stones at him and flung dust. (2Sa 19:21) 

New International Version

13 So David and his men continued along the road while Shimei was going along the hillside opposite him, cursing as he went and throwing stones at him and showering him with dirt. 

New International Reader’s Version

13 So David and his men kept going along the road. At the same time, Shimei was going along the hillside opposite him. He was cursing David as he went. He was throwing stones at David. He was showering him with dirt. 

King James Version

13 And as David and his men went by the way, Shimei went along on the hill' side over against him, and cursed as he went, and threw stones at him, and cast dust.
