8 For your servant vowed a vow while I lived at Geshur in Aram, saying, ‘If the Lord will indeed bring me back to Jerusalem, then I will offer worship to[1] the Lord.’” (Ge 28:20; 1Sa 1:11; 2Sa 13:38) 

New International Version

8 While your servant was living at Geshur in Aram, I made this vow: “If the Lord takes me back to Jerusalem, I will worship the Lord in Hebron.[1]” ’

8 When I was living at Geshur in Aram, I made a promise. I said, “If the LORD takes me back to Jerusalem, I’ll go to Hebron and worship him there.” ’ 

King James Version

8 For thy servant vowed a vow while I abode at Geshur in Syria, saying, If the LORD shall bring me again indeed to Jerusalem, then I will serve the LORD.
