12 She answered him, “No, my brother, do not violate[1] me, for such a thing is not done in Israel; do not do this outrageous thing. (Ge 34:7; Le 18:9; Le 18:11; Le 20:17; Jud 19:23; Jud 20:6)

12 ‘No, my brother!’ she said to him. ‘Don’t force me! Such a thing should not be done in Israel! Don’t do this wicked thing.

12 ‘No, my brother!’ she said to him. ‘Don’t force me! An evil thing like that should never be done in Israel! Don’t do it! 

King James Version

12 And she answered him, Nay, my brother, do not force me; for no such thing ought to be done in Israel: do not thou this folly.
