9 But Uriah slept at the door of the king’s house with all the servants of his lord, and did not go down to his house. 

New International Version

9 But Uriah slept at the entrance to the palace with all his master’s servants and did not go down to his house. 

New International Reader’s Version

9 But Uriah didn’t go home. Instead, he slept at the entrance to the palace. He stayed there with all his master’s servants. 

King James Version

9 But Uriah slept at the door of the king' house with all the servants of his lord, and went not down to his house.
