8 (for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard) –

8 That good man lived among them day after day. He saw and heard the evil things they were doing. They were breaking God’s laws. And the godly spirit of Lot was deeply troubled.
