10 Therefore, brothers,[1] be all the more diligent to confirm your calling and election, for if you practice these qualities you will never fall. (1Th 1:4; 2Pe 3:17; 1Jo 2:10)

10 Therefore, my brothers and sisters,[1] make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble,

10 My brothers and sisters, try very hard to show that God has appointed you to be saved. Try hard to show that he has chosen you. If you do everything I have just said, you will never trip and fall.
