18 For when the man of God had said to the king, “Two seahs of barley shall be sold for a shekel, and a seah of fine flour for a shekel, about this time tomorrow in the gate of Samaria,”

New International Version

18 It happened as the man of God had said to the king: ‘About this time tomorrow, a seah of the finest flour will sell for a shekel and two seahs of barley for a shekel at the gate of Samaria.’

New International Reader’s Version

18 What Elisha, the man of God, had told the king came true. Elisha had said, ‘About this time tomorrow, flour won’t cost very much. Even 5 kilograms of the finest flour will cost less than 12 grams of silver. You will also be able to buy 10 kilograms of barley for the same price. That’s all you will have to pay for those things at the gate of Samaria.’
