9 But the man of God sent word to the king of Israel, “Beware that you do not pass this place, for the Syrians are going down there.” 

New International Version

9 The man of God sent word to the king of Israel: ‘Beware of passing that place, because the Arameans are going down there.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

9 Elisha, the man of God, sent a message to the king of Israel. Elisha said, ‘Try to stay away from that place. Aram’s army is going to be down there.’ 

King James Version

9 And the man of God sent unto the king of Israel, saying, Beware that thou pass not such a place; for thither the Syrians are come down.
