33 And while he was still speaking with them, the messenger came down to him and said, “This trouble is from the Lord! Why should I wait for the Lord any longer?” (Job 2:9) 

New International Version

33 While he was still talking to them, the messenger came down to him. The king said, ‘This disaster is from the Lord. Why should I wait for the Lord any longer?’ 

New International Reader’s Version

33 Elisha was still talking to the elders when the messenger came down to him. The king also arrived. He said, ‘The LORD has sent this horrible trouble on us. Why should I wait any longer for him to help us?’ 

King James Version

33 And while he yet talked with them, behold, the messenger came down unto him: and he said, Behold, this evil is of the LORD; what should I wait for the LORD any longer?
