28 Then she said, “Did I ask my lord for a son? Did I not say, ‘Do not deceive me?’” (2Ki 4:16)

28 ‘Did I ask you for a son, my lord?’ she said. ‘Didn’t I tell you, “Don’t raise my hopes”?’

28 ‘My master, did I ask you for a son?’ she said. ‘Didn’t I tell you, “Don’t make me hope for something that won’t happen”?’
