2 Kings 3:2

English Standard Version

2 He did what was evil in the sight of the Lord, though not like his father and mother, for he put away the pillar of Baal that his father had made. (Ex 23:24; 1Ki 16:31; 2Ki 10:26) 

New International Version

2 He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, but not as his father and mother had done. He got rid of the sacred stone of Baal that his father had made. 

New International Reader’s Version

2 Joram did what was evil in the sight of the LORD. But he wasn’t as bad as his father and mother had been. Joram’s father had made a sacred stone used to worship the god named Baal. Joram got rid of it. 

King James Version

2 And he wrought evil in the sight of the LORD; but not like his father, and like his mother: for he put away the image of Baal that his father had made.
