37 And he did what was evil in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his fathers had done. (2Ki 23:32) 

New International Version

37 And he did evil in the eyes of the Lord, just as his predecessors had done. 

New International Reader’s Version

37 Jehoiakim did what was evil in the eyes of the LORD. He did just as the kings who had ruled before him had done.
