2 Kings 23:14

English Standard Version

14 And he broke in pieces the pillars and cut down the Asherim and filled their places with the bones of men. (Ex 23:24) 

New International Version

14 Josiah smashed the sacred stones and cut down the Asherah poles and covered the sites with human bones. 

New International Reader’s Version

14 Josiah smashed the sacred stones. He cut down the poles used to worship the female god named Asherah. Then he covered all those places with human bones. 

King James Version

14 And he brake in pieces the images, and cut down the groves, and filled their places with the bones of men.
