10 And he defiled Topheth, which is in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, that no one might burn his son or his daughter as an offering to Molech.[1] (Le 18:21; Jos 15:8; 1Ki 11:7; Isa 30:33; Jer 7:31; Jer 19:6; Jer 19:11) 

New International Version

10 He desecrated Topheth, which was in the Valley of Ben Hinnom, so no-one could use it to sacrifice their son or daughter in the fire to Molek. 

New International Reader’s Version

10 Josiah destroyed the high place at Topheth in the Valley of Ben Hinnom. He didn’t want anyone to use the high place to sacrifice his son or daughter in the fire to the god named Molek. 

King James Version

10 And he defiled Topheth, which is in the valley of the children of Hinnom, that no man might make his son or his daughter to pass through the fire to Molech.
