2 Kings 21:12

English Standard Version

12 therefore thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: Behold, I am bringing upon Jerusalem and Judah such disaster[1] that the ears of everyone who hears of it will tingle. (1Sa 3:11; Jer 19:3) 

New International Version

12 Therefore this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: I am going to bring such disaster on Jerusalem and Judah that the ears of everyone who hears of it will tingle. 

New International Reader’s Version

12 I am the LORD, the God of Israel. I tell you, “I am going to bring trouble on Jerusalem and Judah. It will be so horrible that the ears of everyone who hears about it will tingle. 

King James Version

12 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.
