2 Kings 16:18

English Standard Version

18 And the covered way for the Sabbath that had been built inside the house and the outer entrance for the king he caused to go around the house of the Lord, because of the king of Assyria. 

New International Version

18 He took away the Sabbath canopy[1] that had been built at the temple and removed the royal entrance outside the temple of the Lord, in deference to the king of Assyria. 

New International Reader’s Version

18 He took away the covered area that had been used on the Sabbath day. It had been built at the LORD’s temple. He removed the royal entrance that was outside the temple. Ahaz did all these things to honour the king of Assyria. 

King James Version

18 And the covert for the sabbath that they had built in the house, and the king' entry without, turned he from the house of the LORD for the king of Assyria.
