2 Kings 15:5

English Standard Version

5 And the Lord touched the king, so that he was a leper[1] to the day of his death, and he lived in a separate house.[2] And Jotham the king’s son was over the household, governing the people of the land. (Le 13:46; 2Ch 26:21)

New International Version

5 The Lord afflicted the king with leprosy[1] until the day he died, and he lived in a separate house.[2] Jotham the king’s son had charge of the palace and governed the people of the land.

New International Reader’s Version

5 The LORD caused King Uzziah to suffer from a skin disease until the day he died. He lived in a separate house. His son Jotham was in charge of the palace. Jotham ruled over the people of the land.

King James Version

5 And the LORD smote the king, so that he was a leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a several house. And Jotham the king' son was over the house, judging the people of the land.
