10 In the thirty-seventh year of Joash king of Judah, Jehoash[1] the son of Jehoahaz began to reign over Israel in Samaria, and he reigned sixteen years.

New International Version

10 In the thirty-seventh year of Joash king of Judah, Jehoash son of Jehoahaz became king of Israel in Samaria, and he reigned for sixteen years.

New International Reader’s Version

10 Jehoash became king of Israel in Samaria. It was in the 37th year that Joash was king of Judah. Jehoash ruled for 16 years. He was the son of Jehoahaz.
