English Standard Version

12 For if the readiness is there, it is acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have. (Mr 12:43; Lu 21:3; 2Co 9:7) 

New International Version

12 For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have. 

New International Reader’s Version

12 Do you really want to give? Then the gift is measured by what someone has. It is not measured by what they don’t have.
