1 Working together with him, then, we appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in vain. (Mr 16:20; Ac 15:4; 1Co 3:9; 2Co 5:20; Heb 12:15)

1 As God’s fellow workers we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain. 

New International Reader’s Version

1 We work together with God. So we are asking you not to receive God’s grace and then do nothing with it.

1 We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
