2 Corinthians 2:16

English Standard Version

16 to one a fragrance from death to death, to the other a fragrance from life to life. Who is sufficient for these things? (Lu 2:34; Joh 9:39; 2Co 3:5; 1Pe 2:7)

16 To the one we are an aroma that brings death; to the other, an aroma that brings life. And who is equal to such a task?

16 To those who are dying, we are the smell of death. To those who are being saved, we are the perfume of life. Who is able to do this work?

16 To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?
