2 Corinthians 12:6

English Standard Version

6 though if I should wish to boast, I would not be a fool, for I would be speaking the truth; but I refrain from it, so that no one may think more of me than he sees in me or hears from me. (2Co 5:13; 2Co 11:16; 2Co 12:11)

New International Version

6 Even if I should choose to boast, I would not be a fool, because I would be speaking the truth. But I refrain, so no-one will think more of me than is warranted by what I do or say,

New International Reader’s Version

6 Suppose I decide to boast. That would not make me a fool, because I would be telling the truth. But I don’t boast, so that no one will think more of me than they should. People should judge me by what I do and say.

King James Version

6 For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he seeth me to be, or that he heareth of me.
