2 Chronicles 8:18

English Standard Version

18 And Hiram sent to him by the hand of his servants ships and servants familiar with the sea, and they went to Ophir together with the servants of Solomon and brought from there 450 talents[1] of gold and brought it to King Solomon. (1Ki 9:28; 2Ch 9:10) 

New International Version

18 And Hiram sent him ships commanded by his own men, sailors who knew the sea. These, with Solomon’s men, sailed to Ophir and brought back four hundred and fifty talents[1] of gold, which they delivered to King Solomon. 

New International Reader’s Version

18 Hiram sent him ships that his own officers commanded. They were sailors who knew the sea. Together with Solomon’s men they sailed to Ophir. They brought back 16 tonnes of gold. They gave it to King Solomon. 

King James Version

18 And Huram sent him by the hands of his servants ships, and servants that had knowledge of the sea; and they went with the servants of Solomon to Ophir, and took thence four hundred and fifty talents of gold, and brought them to king Solomon.
