2 Chronicles 6:20

English Standard Version

20 that your eyes may be open day and night toward this house, the place where you have promised to set your name, that you may listen to the prayer that your servant offers toward this place. (2Ch 6:40) 

New International Version

20 May your eyes be open towards this temple day and night, this place of which you said you would put your Name there. May you hear the prayer your servant prays towards this place. 

New International Reader’s Version

20 Let your eyes look towards this temple day and night. You said you would put your Name here. Listen to the prayer I’m praying towards this place. 

King James Version

20 That thine eyes may be open upon this house day and night, upon the place whereof thou hast said that thou wouldest put thy name there; to hearken unto the prayer which thy servant prayeth toward this place.
