24 In those days Hezekiah became sick and was at the point of death, and he prayed to the Lord, and he answered him and gave him a sign. (2Ki 20:1; Isa 38:1) 

New International Version

24 In those days Hezekiah became ill and was at the point of death. He prayed to the Lord, who answered him and gave him a miraculous sign. 

New International Reader’s Version

24 In those days Hezekiah became ill. He knew he was about to die. So he prayed to the LORD. And the LORD answered him. He gave him a miraculous sign. 

King James Version

24 In those days Hezekiah was sick to the death, and prayed unto the LORD: and he spake unto him, and he gave him a sign.
