8 But go, act, be strong for the battle. Why should you suppose that God will cast you down before the enemy? For God has power to help or to cast down.” (2Ch 20:6) 

New International Version

8 Even if you go and fight courageously in battle, God will overthrow you before the enemy, for God has the power to help or to overthrow.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

8 Go and fight bravely in battle if you want to. But God will destroy you right in front of your enemies. God has the power to help you or destroy you.’ 

King James Version

8 But if thou wilt go, do it , be strong for the battle: God shall make thee fall before the enemy: for God hath power to help, and to cast down.
