English Standard Version

10 And he set all the people as a guard for the king, every man with his weapon in his hand, from the south side of the house to the north side of the house, around the altar and the house. 

New International Version

10 He stationed all the men, each with his weapon in his hand, round the king – near the altar and the temple, from the south side to the north side of the temple. 

New International Reader’s Version

10 Jehoiada stationed all the men around the new king. Each man had his weapon in his hand. They were standing near the altar and the temple. They stood from the south side of the temple to its north side. 

King James Version

10 And he set all the people, every man having his weapon in his hand, from the right side of the temple to the left side of the temple, along by the altar and the temple, by the king round about.
