16 And the Lord stirred up against Jehoram the anger[1] of the Philistines and of the Arabians who are near the Ethiopians. (1Ki 11:14; 1Ki 11:23; 2Ch 17:11; 2Ch 22:1; 2Ch 26:7)

16 The Lord aroused against Jehoram the hostility of the Philistines and of the Arabs who lived near the Cushites. 

New International Reader’s Version

16 The LORD stirred up the anger of the Philistines against Jehoram. He also stirred up the anger of the Arabs. They lived near the people of Cush.
