4 but sought the God of his father and walked in his commandments, and not according to the practices of Israel. (1Ki 12:28) 

New International Version

4 but sought the God of his father and followed his commands rather than the practices of Israel. 

New International Reader’s Version

4 Instead, Jehoshaphat obeyed the God of his father. He obeyed the LORD’s commands instead of the practices of Israel. 

King James Version

4 But sought to the LORD God of his father, and walked in his commandments, and not after the doings of Israel.
