2 Chronicles 14:6

English Standard Version

6 He built fortified cities in Judah, for the land had rest. He had no war in those years, for the Lord gave him peace. (2Ch 11:5; 2Ch 15:15; 2Ch 20:30) 

New International Version

6 He built up the fortified cities of Judah, since the land was at peace. No-one was at war with him during those years, for the Lord gave him rest. 

New International Reader’s Version

6 He built up the cities of Judah that had high walls around them. The land was at peace. No one was at war with Asa during those years. That’s because the LORD gave him peace and rest. 

King James Version

6 And he built fenced cities in Judah: for the land had rest, and he had no war in those years; because the LORD had given him rest.
